To avoid long wait lists, this office requires confirmation of your attendance to appointments at least 7 days prior to your appointment.
You must call prior to your appointment if you must cancel it or you will have to be re-referred.


Please wear loose fitting clothing and DO NOT wear any lotion on the day of your appointment as this will interfere with our equipment.

Appointment duration is typically 30 minutes.

All patients wishing to be seen by Dr Selk must be referred by a physician.

1 week prior to injection all anti-inflammatory medication must be discontinued.

Day of injection:
Eat and drink per usual and take regularly scheduled medication except for anti-inflammatories. Prophylactic use of Tylenol is permitted.

At the office the nurse will meet with you, review the procedure and post procedure care, and then draw blood used for the procedure. The nurse will spin down the blood In a centrifuge and then prepare the platelets for injection.

Dr Selk will inject into the injured area and you will remain at the clinic for 10-15 minutes.

A 4 week review appointment will be made prior to leaving the clinic for follow up evaluation.
